Weather Nyc, New Yorkers who have made plans to travel during the holidays have been discouraged this weekend when the weather in New York caused many flight cancellations. Among those stranded dozens of players who were to travel to Las Vegas to celebrate New Year
“I had to leave for Las Vegas on Friday and spend two weeks there,” said Kevin Valtero, who was traveling with a group of friends. “Now we’re stuck here a little longer than we hoped, but we intend to remain at the airport and we hope to leave soon.”

Las Vegas has always been one of the hottest places to celebrate the new year, although revenues were down, the new year is still expected to be profitable for the casinos of Las Vegas.
New Yorkers are not the only travelers who were stranded because of bad weather in the Northeast. Boston blizzard warnings, and Saturday evening, Delta had canceled hundreds of flights due to weather. More cancellations are expected throughout Sunday and perhaps next week.
If the weather continues, Las Vegas and other gambling destinations can be hurt by cancellations. Many travelers have a set amount of time out of their jobs, and if their flight is canceled, they may choose to travel to reprogram their game for another time.
