Tiger Woods Barefoot

March 1, 2013 by

Tiger Woods Barefoot, No shoes, no socks, no other way to play the shot? That was apparently the conclusion Tiger Woods came to on the fairway during the first round of the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on Thursday. Tiger went barefoot and waded into marshy waters to save par after hitting his ball into it on the sixth hole. “How about that?” Woods marveled after making the game-saving splash, doffing his rain pants, drying himself off and slipping back into his kicks. Yeah, how ’bout it?

While playing The Honda Classic tournament on Thursday, Tiger Woods decided to go for a barefoot shot after sending the ball into the water hazard. The 14-time major winner removed his shoes and socks and put on his rain pants for the incredible water shot which ended up helping him save an even-par 70 in the first round of the tournament.

Woods’ even-par landed the golfer in the 61st place of the Honda Classic where he is tied with Rory McIlroy, who is currently ranked as the world’s number one golfer.
