Suge Knight Arrested Marijuana, Marion “Suge” Knight launched the careers of Snoop Dogg and Tupac, Death Row Records co-founder Marion “Suge” Knight has been arrested after he was found with cannabis in his car.

He was stopped by police for a driving offence in Las Vegas after being spotted changing lanes and making a turn without signalling properly.

Knight was found with less than an ounce of marijuana and was released from jail on $2,600 (£1,646) bail.

The former music mogul, 46, helped launch the careers of rappers like Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur in the 90s.

Police say a records check turned up three outstanding Nevada traffic warrants, including one for a driving on a suspended out-of-state licence.

In recent years his career has been overshadowed by various run-ins with the law.

In May 2010, he was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

In February 2009, Knight was treated for facial injuries that he suffered in a fight at a hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona.

He was also arrested in August 2008 in Las Vegas on drug and assault charges after he was accused of punching his girlfriend and pulling a knife on her during an argument outside a strip club.

Snoop Dogg Arrested Texas

Snoop Dogg Arrested Texas, There’s something about Texas and pot-bustings. Just ask Matthew McCounaghey, Snoop Dogg and now The Social Network’s Armie Hammer.

E! Online reported the actor was arrested for marijuana possession in the Lone Star state November 30 last year.

The 25-year-old was taken in at Sierra Blanca, Texas after police found a medical marijuana brownie and three cookies in his possession.

According to Reuters, because Hammer had less than four ounces of pot on him, he was not charged with a felony and instead spent one day in jail and paid a $1,000 bond. He will not be given any further punishment.

Hammer first made it in Hollywood after his portrayal of the Winklevoss twins in the Facebook film received rave reviews. He also played a lawman Clyde Tolson alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in last year’s J. Edgar.

Sierra Blanca has certainly found itself in a lot of news headlines lately. Not only was country singer Willie Nelson arrested for pot possession in the small border town, Snoop Dogg was also arrested earlier this month.

Hammer was let off easy this time, but the town obviously has its illegal drugs act together, so it probably wouldn’t be a smart move to get caught twice.

Suge Knight Birthday

Suge Knight Birthday, Marion “Suge” Knight, Jr. ( born April 19, 1965) (a.k.a. Big Suge or Big Simon) is the founder and CEO of Black Kapital Records and co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records. Death Row Records rose to dominate the rap charts after Dr. Dre’s breakthrough album The Chronic in 1992. After several years of chart successes for artists including Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tha Outlawz and Tha Dogg Pound, Death Row Records stagnated after Knight’s incarceration on parole violation charges in September 1996.

Marion Hugh Knight was born in Compton, California. His name, Suge, derives from “Sugar Bear”, a childhood nickname. He attended Lynwood High School, then graduated and got a football scholarship to University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he went on to play collegiate football for several years. After school, he played professionally for the Los Angeles Rams as a replacement player during the 1987 NFL strike. Later, he found work as a concert promoter and a bodyguard for celebrities including Bobby Brown.

Knight’s legal problems began in 1987 when he faced auto theft, concealed weapon and attempted murder charges, ultimately receiving probation. Two years later, he formed his own music-publishing company, and allegedly made his first big fortune in the business by coercing Vanilla Ice into signing over royalties from his smash hit “Ice Ice Baby” owing to material that he allegedly sampled from Queen, one of Knight’s company associates (the possibly apocryphal story holds that Knight held Ice by his ankles off of a 20th-floor balcony, though in Ice’s version, the threat was more implied). Knight next formed an artist management company and signed prominent West Coast hip hop artists The D.O.C. and DJ Quik.

Through the former, he met several members of the seminal gangsta rap group N.W.A. In 1993, Suge would have a son, Andrew, born on April 19, sharing the same birthday as him. Andrew is currently living in the Greater Los Angeles area with his mother, “Tia”. Another son, Taj, is said to be living in Atlanta with his mother, Davina Barnes. He also has daughters named Posh and Bailei, the latter with R&B singer Michel’le.
