Guineafowl Pufferfish, This sizable puffer is known as the Guineafowl Pufferfish (Arothron meleagris). They reach lengths of 20 inches and are sometimes found in the aquarium trade because of their personalities. “Intelligent and curious, they quickly learn to interact with their owners through the glass. Like all pufferfish, the Guineafowl Puffer can inflate itself by sucking in water, turning itself into a veritable spiky sphere of doom that is [almost] impossible to swallow.

While I do see how predators would be deterred from the puffer’s inflated self, looking at the picture below makes me think that this face alone might get the job done.
