Nancy Dolman, And I need about 2 years in a row to wash eyes repeatedly with Clorox to erase the images of the competition tonight kisses from my memory. Do not go into more detail – in deference to spoilerphobes, and also not to vomit on my computer – but suffice to say that the contestants Bachelor Pad had to put their money where their mouth is … or really had to put his mouth where many, many people had been before. Stay tuned for my complete overview of TV (and exclusive blog Chris Harrison Bachelor Pad) later tonight, but meanwhile, we will work through this trauma together: Are you surprised you won? Did I miss something, or actually Tenley make it through this whole episode without mourn? And the “insiders” to destroy them all? Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go drink a bottle of Listerine. Perhaps two.

Martin Short

Martin Short,Hewes & Associates is getting bigger.

FX announced yesterday that season three of Damages, which returns to FX in January and begins filming today in New York, has added four big names to the cast. Martin Short and Campbell Scott have both signed on as regulars and Lily Tomlin and Keith Carradine are joining as guest stars.

This news has me really excited. Last season, after William Hurt, Marcia Gay Harden, John Doman, and Darrell Hammond all signed on, I said it was arguably one of the finest casts ever assembled for a TV drama. With these new names added to the roster, this season is shaping up to be just as good, if not better. The only thing missing from this news? Confirmation that Ted Danson will return for at least a few eps to reprise his role as Arthur Frobisher – hopefully, he’ll be back as well.
Last we left Patty (Glenn Close) and Ellen (Rose Byrne), they had just gotten themselves out of another jam and it seemed as though Ellen was finally on the path to a new job and a new life – separate from Hewes & Associates. Hopefully, both Short and Tomlin will play a role in that transition. Both have some serious dramatic credits, but it’s their comedy backgrounds that have me curious about what type of roles they’ll be playing. Any predictions?
