Santa Claus Charged With Traffic, A young man dressed in a traditional Santa Claus suit, minus the white beard, has been charged in connection with a traffic incident in Douglas, Dundee, Scotland on Friday, December 13th of this year.

The 25-year-old man allegedly crashed his car through the hedge and garden of a home in the early morning hours, around 5:30, and was seen fleeing the scene on foot wearing the Santa costume. Police immediately initiated a city-wide manhunt for the suspect.

The vehicle, a blue Nissan Micra, was left stuck in the hedge and running with the lights on for an hour and a half while the investigation was conducted. It was towed away around 7:00.
