Sandringham Flower Show

July 31, 2013 by

Sandringham Flower Show, Rain did not deter visitors to today’s Sandringham Flower Show who were eager to ask the Prince of Wales and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, about the arrival of the Royal baby.

A ‘congratulations’ banner was even hung out as the Prince of Wales exited the first Royal Marquee, while cards, teddy bears and flowers were handed to the couple as they toured the annual event to shake hands with those who had waited hours in the rain to see them.

They included Sheila Clark, 55, who travelled from as far away as Glasgow in Scotland to present the Royal couple with a blue embroidered teddy bear for baby George.

“I come to the flower show every year but I particularly wanted to do something this time,” Mrs Clark said. “I embroidered his name on it and on its feet I had his weight and time of birth.”
