Samuel L. Jackson Angers Porn Industry Endorsing Redtube, When Samuel L. Jackson participates in a press day it’s always a very interesting experience. One never truly knows what Jackson will get himself into or out of because of his candid and very funny nature of answering questions. The last time we saw Jackson participate in promotion it was for RoboCop, which saw a reporter’s mistake of identity go viral after Jackson was mistaken for actor Laurence Fishburne.

This time around Samuel L. Jackson is taking a bit of heat for jokingly endorsing the porn site RedTube. During a segment to promote Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a reporter asked the actor at the panel to choose a technological advancement that his character would be made aware of. Jackson decided to promote RedTube for his answer.

Although the moment was golden for the interview, and everyone seemed to be very amused by Jackson’s answer, according to TMZ Sam unintentionally or maybe intentionally, ruffled some feathers, specifically in the porn industry. People in the porn community weren’t amused by Jackson’s answer.

Porn stars Catalina Cruz and Tanya Tate have come forward in hopes that the actor will apologize to the porn community and let people know that viewing pornography for free is actually a crime and robbing from the X-rated performers. If that’s not enough the stars have vowed to boycott Samuel L. Jackson’s films until he apologizes. The porn stars weren’t only offended by his promotion of the free video site, but thought his comments were offensive given his profession.

In a statement porn star Tanya Tate said:

“I would gladly send a catalog of adult movies I have directed to Mr. Jackson if he would be so kind as to recant the comment. I have a stack of porn for him to help him see the error of his ways.”
