Crown Archetype, an imprint of Random House, will publish the fake journalist’s memoir, titled LET ME OFF AT TS-EX- TOP!: My Classy Life and Other Musings, on Nov. 19.
The classiest man in San Diego says in a release that he will be sharing “never-before-told stories of his childhood” and what led him to become TV’s “greatest living news anchor.” He’ll also delve into his romantic life, and share stories about his dog, Baxter, and his news crew, known as the Action 4 News Team.
Burgundy also adds that while he doesn’t know if it’s the “greatest autobiography ever written,” he “cried like a …baby” the first time he read it through.

The film sees all of Burgundy’s main crew reunited, including Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner. According to the Internet Movie Database, a slew of other famous faces star in the flick, among them Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Meagan Good, Harrison Ford and many more. Like the first film, the second was written by Ferrell and Adam McKay, who also directed both movies.
The memoir also comes on the heels of news that Burgundy and company will be given an exhibit at the Newseum, the Washington, D.C., museum devoted to the media. The exhibit opens on Nov. 14.
