Piper Perabo Engaged, She’s been preparing for her upcoming season of Covert Affairs, which returns on October 17.
But Piper Perabo, 36, now has much more to look forward to, as she and her director-producer beau Stephen Kay are engaged, People magazine reports.
‘They’re very happy,’ a source told the publication, but the beauty has yet to make a personal mention of her impending nuptials.
Kay is a co-executive of the hit USA show, which Piper has been starring in since its premiere in July 2010 on the USA Network.
Her role as detective Annie Walker in the crime drama has brought her renewed success in Hollywood, even winning her a Golden Globe nomination in 2011.
The show’s 16-episode fourth season began airing in mid-July.
Piper got her big break in the 2000 movie Coyote Ugly, in which she starred as an aspiring, fresh-faced songwriter Violet Sanford who comes out of her shell while working at a women-run bar in New York City.
Since her breakthrough, the actress – who recently traded in her signature blonde locks for a dark ‘do – has appeared in a string of films including cheaper By The Dozen and The Prestige.
Meanwhile, Kay is also known for acting on several series, such as General Hospital.
The New Zealand-native has previously been linked to Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher.
