Photos: Kate Moss Wedding Dress On Display, OK, so maybe you didn’t get an invite to Kate Moss’ or Gwen Stefani’s wedding. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still get an up-close-and-personal look at their wedding gowns.

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London is holding a bridal exhibition called “Wedding Dresses 1775-2014,” and it will run from May 3 until March of next year. And the gorgeous gowns worn by Kate Moss and Gwen Stefani are a part of the exhibit.

The stars’ dresses—which were actually both designed by John Galliano—are included in the exhibit because each started major bridal trends. Gwen made colored wedding dresses popular when she wed Gavin Rossdale in 2002 in an unconventional, pink dip-dye gown.

When Kate married guitarist Jamie Hince in 2011, her sequined gown (270,000 sequins, to be exact) started a boho-chic wedding dress trend. Another famous, boundary-pushing wedding dress on display is Dita Von Teese’s bright purple Vivienne Westwood gown that she wore to marry Marilyn Manson in 2005.

The exhibit includes 80 gowns, and the wedding dresses aren’t just from this century; one dress (complete with a straw hat) was worn by a wealthy farmer’s daughter, and dates back to 1780.

And in case you’re wondering if Kate Middleton’s wedding dress is on display, sadly it’s not. Although there are film clips from the royal wedding that are projected on the museum’s wall.

So, if you find yourself in London we suggest your first stop should be the Victoria and Albert Museum.
