Perry Mayer Duet, Katy Perry appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today (December 20), and she surprised the audience by bringing out her man John Mayer. Judging by the crowd’s squeals, this KP relationship has done wonders in rehabilitating his image! Ellen asked the couple if their “Who You Love” video was a response to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian‘s “Bound 2? visual, and Perry jokingly replied, “I thought our response was a little bit more authentic because my hair was blowing in the right direction though.” (MTV has the GIFs to prove it.) It was all very stupid and bubbly and charming.
The pair also stuck around for a spoof ’70s holiday video titled “A Perry, Mayery Christmas” complete with Anchorman garb. Check that out below, and catch the interview up top.
