Man Sues Cat Owner: Man Sues Cat Owner

April 2, 2013 by

Man Sues Cat Owner: Man Sues Cat Owner, A man from Illinois is suing a cat owner for $100,000 after he was allegedly attacked by the pet while he was house-sitting. William Baxter of Homer Glen, Ill., claims he was “viciously attacked, bit and clawed” by Christine Bobak’s cat which caused “significant” injuries to his ring finger and left arm. According to the suit, which was filed March 22, Baxter claims the attack was “unprovoked” and took place while Baxter was taking care of the feline back in 2011. The lawsuit also alleges that Bobak should have known the cat was dangerous since it’s apparently attacked others in the past. It adds that Baxter “will in the future continue to suffer.”

However, oddly enough, the woman that Baxter is suing just may be his wife!

A Facebook profile belonging to a Billy Baxter, of Homer Glen, indicates he married to a Christine Bobak, also of Homer Glen.

Though it has not been confirmed whether or not the Baxter and Bobak involved in the lawsuit are that couple or if they are married, reports seem to think the couple is legally wed.
