LUKE RAYMOND JOHNSON ROBBED GAS STATION IN WORK VAN, A sign on the vehicle of a man at a gas station gave theft Saturday, according to state police.

Maryland State Police said they received a robbery call shortly after 13:30 Sunoco gas station in the 1400 block of Rock Springs Road in Bel Air.

According to investigators, Lucas Raymond Johnson demanded cash at the secretariat, brandishing a knife box cutter type. Johnson, 30, fled on foot to a truck that had a sign with the name of a construction company, witnesses told police.

Police traced the company for information and finally found Johnson in the 800 block of Chesney Lane. Police said he was wearing clothes that match a description given by the seller.

Police said they also recovered a knife and drug paraphernalia containing suspected heroin.

Police accused Johnson of first and second degree assault, theft and drug violations. He stood and held on 250,000 bond Sunday morning.
