Labrinth Emilia Sande Number 1

October 29, 2012 by

Labrinth Emilia Sande Number 1, UK duo Labrinth and Emeli Sande are celebrating a new No.1 single, after their duet ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’ knocked Calvin Harris from the top of the UK singles chart. The track was previously at No.85 on the UK charts – but after a performance on X Factor last weekend, the track has been vaulted to the top of the charts.

Also new inside the Top Ten is boyband JLS, who enter at No.6 with their new track ‘Hottest Girl In The World’ and a second new hit for Emeli Sande, who debuts at No.10 with her Naughty Boy collaboration, ‘Wonder’.

Further down the charts, hotly-tipped new London star Bastille enters at No.21 with his new single ‘Flaws’, while US folk-rockers The Lumineers score their debut hit at No.23 with their track, ‘Ho Hey’.

Meanwhile on the album chart, Taylor Swift has scored her first ever UK album No.1 with her latest album, Red. The album contains the hit singles ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ and ‘Begin Again’.

Also new in the albums Top Ten are guitar boyband Lawson who are new at No.4 and N-Dubz rapper Dappy, who enters at No.6. Earlier this week Dappy said he would be ‘devastated’ if Bad Intentions didn’t make the No.1 spot – looks like he’ll need some consoling.

Daniel O’Donnell is also new in the Top Ten with his latest collection, Songs From The Movies And More, which enters at No.7.

Stone Sour are new at No.13 with their album House Of Gold & Bones Part 1 and US rapper Kendrick Lamar Good Kid M.A.A.D City enters at No.16. Kate Rusby Rusby enters at No.22 with her album 20, Steve Hackett is new at No.24 with Genesis Revisited II and The Lumineers enter at No.29.
