L.A. Clippers Sold

L.A. Clippers Sold, Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has agreed to buy the Los Angeles Clippers for a record-breaking US$2-billion. Now it’s up to others whether the deal goes through.

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling apologized for racist remarks that earned him a lifetime NBA ban in an interview aired Monday. But in the process, he also made negative comments about African-Americans and disparaged Magic Johnson, one of the men mentioned in the recording.

In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Sterling contrasted Jewish generosity with that of African-Americans.

“Jews, when they get successful, they will help their people. And some of the African-Americans – maybe I’ll get in trouble again – they don’t want to help anybody.”
