Kravis Center
December 5, 2009 by USA Post
Kravis Center:Garrison Keillor is an American institution — writer, monologuist without compare, host of public radio’s A Prairie Home Companion.
The 67-year-old, low-key raconteur is never without something to say, but he should have even more ways of spinning life experiences into warm and witty insights since he suffered a stroke.
In recent appearances, which have run close to two hours, he’s talked about his recovery, as well as the nostalgic remembrances that have made him such a beloved national figure.
GARRISON KEILLOR: 8 p.m. Monday, Kravis Center, West Palm Beach. Information: (561) 832-7469 or kravis.org.
