Jerry Herman

December 29, 2010 by

Jerry Herman, Carol Channing and Chita Rivera performed at the Kennedy Center Honors. Broadcast tonight, five people honored by the performing arts are Merle Haggard, Paul McCartney, Oprah Winfrey, Bill T. Jones, and Jerry Herman.

If you are looking for a show stopper, the performance of three well-known stories was the time to be expected. Angela, Carol and Chita arrived on scene and certainly gave everyone a show they will never forget. The tribute to the winners, who watched earlier, was certainly not for the faint of heart.

So how did three legends gather to perform so well? In a video aired before the show, Angela Lansbury, Carol Channing and Chita Rivera practice. This clip shows how amazing these women are serious in giving the best performance of their lives (as they have done for years.)
