Jennifer Aniston Opens Up About Brad Pitt Divorce, When Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt got divorce in 2005, it was one of the biggest Hollywood splits in years. Their failed marriage – and Pitt’s burgeoning relationship with Angelina Jolie – made headlines for months – many of which depicted Aniston as emotionally devastated.
In the following decade, both couples have made new lives and new families. Pitt married Jolie in 2014, and currently Aniston is engaged to actor Justin Theroux. However, the surprising divorce is still a frequent topic of discussion.
Recently, Aniston addressed the years-old story when she sat down for an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.
“I don’t find it painful,” Aniston said. “I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.”
However, the former Friends star said that she hasn’t exactly remained close friends with her ex-husband.
“We’ve exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other, but not a constant thing,” Aniston revealed.
