Hugh Laurie Colbert, So NOW we know why Stephen Colbert randomly showed up on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last week dancing to Daft Punk. He was putting together his “Get Lucky” dance party, aka “S*ck It, MTV” extravaganza.
When Daft Punk cancelled its appearance on StePhest Colbchella because of its planned “surprise” appearance on the VMAs later this month, Colbert had to think quickly to make lemonade out of those French lemons.
Naturally, the only thing to do at a time like this is dance.
And dance he did: with Fallon, Hugh Laurie, Jeff Bridges, Bryan Cranston, Nick Cannon and even Jon Stewart via Skype.
