Heisman Trophy 2012

December 8, 2012 by

Heisman Trophy 2012, It’s very likely that either Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel or Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o will take home the 2012 Heisman Trophy award on Saturday night. But regardless of who wins, the two have already become fast friends while traveling the college football awards tour the last week.

Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o and Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel are the two heavy favorites entering Saturday’s Heisman Trophy ceremony, but regardless of if either wins (Kansas State’s Collin Klein is also a finalist) the two have quickly forged a fast friendship. The pair flew to New York on the same flight from Orlando on late Thursday night, following the college football awards show.

Here’s what Manziel had to say about the experience, with his quote coming via the Daily Herald:

“He’s a big guy,” Manziel said. “I thought he might stuff me in locker and beat me up a little bit.”

All joking aside, college football history will be made if either wins the award.
