Doctored Boston photo, A mystery man on the roof of a building just above where the two bombs went off during the April 15 Boston Marathon has been spotted in a spectator’s photo. Said photo has now gone viral and can be seen on Twitter, Facebook, and various media sites. According to the New York Daily News, the photo was taken by Dan Lampariello who was watching the marathon fairly close to the finish line.
Lampariello snapped photos from his spot on the sidelines and it’s clear to see a fireball blast from his location. However, someone on Twitter blew up the photo and pointed out a figure on a roof top over the bombing area.
The mystery man on the roof photo has been debated by several people. The photo has reportedly been passed on the authorities also. There is no word on whether the figure on the roof is legit or whether the photo was doctored in some way. There is also another photo floating around that shows “snipers” on the roof of the cream-colored building where at least one of the blasts originated. It does seem as though this picture was Photoshopped, but that’s unknown for sure.
