Conférence Genève 2, It was discussed for months. The date of the Geneva Peace Conference 2 on Syria is now known: it will be on January 22, announced Monday, November 25th Secretary General of the UN, Ban Ki-moon. The Free Syrian Army has already announced that it will boycott the peace conference in Geneva.
It’s been over six months since the UN is trying to organize this peace conference on Syria. Without success. It would be unforgivable not to seize this opportunity to end the suffering and destruction. ”
The objective of Geneva 2 is to negotiate a political transition in Syria. Government and opposition must agree on the role of Bashar al-Assad. The opposition must prove that she speaks for all rebel groups. “The conditions are not met to organize the Geneva talks 2”, has already announced the general Salim Idriss, commander of the Free Syrian Army (FSA), the Al Jazeera. He also promised to continue fighting for these discussions, stressing the need to obtain weapons for his fighters. The question of participation of Saudi Arabia and Iran is still pending.
