Clint Eastwood Divorce 2013, Clint and Dina Eastwood had been married for 17 years before she filed for separation
Dina Eastwood, the veteran actor’s second wife, filed the petition on Monday in Monterey County Superior Court seeking spousal support and physical custody of their 16-year-old daughter Morgan.
The Monterey County Herald reports that the petition also indicated the couple had a premarital agreement.
Just last week Dina, 48, defended the 83-year-old star as a “wonderful, good-natured and brilliant person” following widespread rumours that the separation was acrimonious.
Clint and Dina’s split was announced in August but the couple have not been photographed together since late 2011
Last week things also took a bizarre turn when it was reported that Dina had reignited her relationship with her old high-school sweetheart Scott Fisher and Clint had been spending time with Scott’s ex-wife Erica Tomlinson-Fisher. Dina said she had seen published photos of Clint with Erica and was “saddened by them”.
But tension was said to have grown between the pair when Dina started filming fly-on-the-wall reality TV show Mrs Eastwood & Company last year.
On the show she often complained about her life and cried which is said to have infuriated Clint. The fallout was said to have become so stressful that Dina checked into rehab for anxiety and depression earlier this year, later confirming that she and the Dirty Harry actor had been living apart.
