Billy Boyd, (UKPA) – Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan celebrated the marriage of Lord of the Rings co-star Boyd Billy in Glasgow this week. The actor, 42, Scotland, who played Pippin in Peter Jackson’s trilogy, is married to long-term partner Ali McKinnon at Oran Mor on December 29, and his Hollywood pals were among 30 guests at the intimate ceremony.

Elijah, Dominic and Billy all became good friends to play hobbits in the hit movies that were filmed on site in New Zealand and even got matching tattoos written in high-elvish, language books by JRR Tolkien, for mark their time working together.

Billy met his wife, a ballet dancer and yoga teacher, back in 2002 when the pair worked together on a pantomime. They have a four year old son named Jack, who wore a suit to match Billy for marriage.

Billy will not reprise his role in The Lord of the Rings prequel The Hobbit, but it will soon be reunited with his co-star Sean Astin in The Witches of Oz, Dorothy about an adult who became a writer for children.
