BEAST OF DORSET

BEAST OF DORSET, Keep a close eye on your bananas – an ‘escaped monkey’ has been seen frolicking around in a public park.
The animal was spotted by 17-year-old Terri Leigh Cox as she looked out of her bedroom window on to park in Dorchester, Dorset.
The black hairy beast was snapped as it frolicked around on all fours before it dashed up a tree out of sight – just ten miles from the famous Monkey World attraction in Wool.
But staff at the rescue monkey centre said all its animals were accounted for – sparking speculation that the mystery beast is an escaped pet.
Miss Cox said: ‘It looked about the size of a small gorilla. It was walking like one as well, using its arms and feet. It was such a shock I couldn’t believe what I was seeing at first.
‘I managed to get a photo but it quickly went out of sight. I couldn’t see it very clearly.
