BBC APOLOGISES FOR PRINCE WILLIAM GAFFE, BBC Breakfast is offering Barbershopera comedy barbershop quartet later in the program and made a short promo about the comedy group.
As part of the promotion of a short clip of his song “I could have married Kate” was shown.
Part of that clip of that particular video went on to show a picture of William and Kate scribbled mustache and the male organ in the head! The BBC apparently lost when creating the promo and transmitted. Of course, viewers do not miss a trick and screen shots were almost immediately available on Twitter and Facebook!
The BBC has apologized for broadcasting a photo of Prince William with a pns drawn on his head.
The Guardian reported that the blunder happened on Thursday on BBC Breakfast for a teaser for the upcoming feature Barbershopera program, a comedy musical quartet. The clip shows the preview image during the group song “I Could Have Married Kate.”
The BBC apologized for the error, saying that the producers did not catch before it airs. “This image was shown briefly in a promotional video for Barbershopera comedy, humorous barbershop group, that appeared later in the program,” said a spokesman.
“The material was provided by Barbershopera but could detect the offending material within. We apologize for this.”
