13 Hurt In D.C. Shooting, A drive-by shooting in front of a crime-ridden apartment complex in Washington D.C. this morning left 13 people injured, the youngest of who was 17 years old.
Detectives are looking for information on two vehicles seen around Tyler House – which is located on North Capitol Street/New York Avenue – around 2:10 a.m.
The eight-story, subsidized building has been the scene of many crimes over the years. Fortunately, this time around, none of the wounded are in critical danger.
D.C. police chief Cathy L. Lanier says no motive has been determined yet, though Fur Nightclub (located a block away) has been the source of numerous recent complains, with patrons gathering in front of Tyler House after the establishment closes for the evening.
