Zooey Deschanel National Anthem, Zooey Deschanel remained calm and stable for playing the national anthem on the night of Sunday.

In front of thousands of spectators in Arlington, Texas, and millions more at home, the singer of 31 years old, indie pop honor of the nation’s Game 4 of the World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers.

While Deschanel had a shaky start and slow for the “Star Spangled Banner,” led the singing of the hymn to the end – and hit all the right notes and words.

After restarting the song because of microphone problems, the country singer 18 years of age, mixed a few words, chanting “No Joseph” instead of “O for example,” an account of some fans.

Deschanel performance comes just days after country singers Trace Adkins and Ronnie Dunn delivered hymns for Game 2 and duties 3, respectively.

Pop star Demi Lovato will take the stage on Monday anthem for Game 5 World Series, which is currently tied 1-1.

After her National Anthem performance on Sunday, whirlpool Deschanel work on her new TV show, “New Girl”.

But Deschanel’s sudden departure was not well received by many fans and viewers at home. During the seventh inning stretch, the “New Girl” co-stars and co-agents Fox, Harry Shum Jr. and Matthew Morrison of “Glee” appeared on the big screen without Deschanel.

“I would have loved to have seen the whole game, but I had to catch a plane so I can go to work tomorrow. That’s all guys. I’m not an idiot,” Deschanel later wrote on Twitter.

The duo is preparing to launch her next Christmas album, “A Very She & Christmas,” on Tuesday. The Christmas album includes versions of classics like “have yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Silver Bells” and “Baby, it’s cold outside.”

Deschanel new Fox series “New Girl”, was recently elected to a full season.
