Zombie Ants Controlled By Fungus, Fortunately for mankind, even the day of Halloween zombie threat is still basically a fictitious threat.

But a look at animal kingdom might make you think twice. The natural world is full of fungi, parasites and insects that live on many of the same tactics that our enemies fictional undead, including a feast on the brains of their prey and infection and the resuscitation of the dead, but everyone.

From unilateralis Cordyceps, a fungus that infects ants with spores before control their movements, infecting other ants and then explode in the head of poor host, the ‘worms zombies’ a little more subtle than devouring dead whales, There is a horde of zombies and beasts out there to inspire Hollywood for years. Even one or two zombies like that could pose a threat to humanity, after all …
