That’s right. Not only it is the year of the dragon.. the year of black dragon has returned in 60 years exciting many Koreans as they believe that the spirit of the black dragon will ward off negative energy and bring in good fortune.

[Reporter : ] Hi guys. First thing’s first. HAPPY NEW YEAR! May this one be filled with happiness just like the previous year.
Every Korean has their own animal zodiac sign, depending on the year they were born 12 zodiac animals, which are deeply embedded in the Korean culture, are also believed to determine a person’s characteristics and give each year a particular meaning.
The year of the dragon has returned in 12 years but the black dragon has made its comeback after 60 years Let’s take a look at how Koreans are cheering on this rare, and majestic animal.
