Woman Killed In NightclubWoman Killed In Nightclub, A woman has died and two others are being treated in hospital after suffering crush injuries possible musical event at a nightclub, police said.

Police were called to the Lava Ignite nightclub & St Peters Road in the center of the city of Northampton just after midnight Wednesday.

The two women are being treated at Northampton General Hospital with serious injuries, said a police spokesman. Another person who is believed to have been wounded in the incident.

Fatal and critical injuries are probably the result of crushing, but the police investigation into the incident continues to establish what happened.

It is believed that the incident occurred in an event called DNA has Wickedest Wickedest delirium. The event began at 21:00 on Tuesday and will continue until 4am.

Firefighters were called to the club at 3:37 a.m., a spokesman for Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A multi-agency approach has begun to investigate the incident, said a police spokesman, and investigations are ongoing. The club has been cordoned off while officers carry out investigations at the site.

It has been reported that the woman who died could have been a student at the University of Northampton. A university spokesman declined to confirm the reports but said the university was the liaison with the police.
