Philadelphia Dining competitive annual show has produced a winning record on Friday, winning a razor’s edge, and a field of competitors killed hundreds of chicken wings.

Jonathan “Super Squibb” Squibb, an accountant of 25 year-old from Berlin, New Jersey won the 19th annual Wing Bowl by eating a record number of 255 wings in 30 minutes. It was his third consecutive victory.

Squibb, wearing a Superman costume, beat five-time champion Bill “El Wingador” Simmons, a former New Jersey truck driver, and a single wing in the last two minutes of the contest, which was seen by Thousands of Philadelphia who has almost completed a 20,000-seat arena.

Squibb, who weighs 215 pounds and won 20,000, a van and a crown adorned with plastic fenders. He said he would use the money to help repay student loans.

The 27 finalists were assisted by teams of scantily clad “Wingett” that challenge eaters Styrofoam plates loaded with wings, and pat his forehead during the test greedy, to the amusement of the crowd, mostly men.

The Wing Bowl, an event important for eating competition, held every weekend of the Super Bowl by WIP, a radio sports talk, which took the idea back nearly two decades as prices consolation for fans of the Philadelphia Eagles when they fail, as they have this year to advance to the Super Bowl.

Caitlin Weiler, a teacher of 24 year-old from Northeast Philadelphia, said she came to see what all the fuss was about.

Wing Bowl crown is to remain in the hands of hot-sauce-covered Super Squibb.

Jon “Super” Squibb Berlin, New Jersey, won his third consecutive title at the pre-dawn confrontation chicken wing, munch its way through a record 255 wings sauce sunny. Squibb beat five-time champion Bill “El Wingador” Simmons by one leg.

Wing Bowl began in 1993 as a way for sports fans of the city’s long-suffering to unwind before the Super Bowl. Thousands gathered at the Wells Fargo Center to watch scantily clad women used their wings to competitors and 610 WIP broadcasts the live action.

Competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi, but did not attend the competition. But it does establish a cheesesteak in 24 seconds.

Squibb, an accountant, took home $ 20,000 and a new pickup.
