Willis Mcgahee Injury

Willis Mcgahee Injury, Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee has been a key cog in the team’s offense all season long, but staying healthy has been one of the player’s biggest issues. That issue has cropped up again while the Broncos play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, as the running back recently left the game after sustaining a left leg injury.
According to the Broncos’ official Twitter feed, McGahee’s sustained a hamstring injury. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the same injury that kept McGahee from playing a few weeks ago while he recovered from hand surgery. The 30-year-old didn’t play as the Broncos got crushed by Denver in Week 8, but he looked totally healthy while running for 163 yards on 20 carries against the Oakland Raiders in Week 9.
Former first-round pick Knowshon Moreno is in to replace McGahee for the moment, although it’s worth noting that he may not totally be done for the day yet. The team has officially reported on Twitter that his return is questionable, and Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reported a couple of minutes ago that McGahee was standing on the sideline speaking with trainers.
