William Levy DWTS, William Levy grabbed the second-highest score on Monday’s season 14 premiere of Dancing with the Stars — but the Cuban-born model and telenovela actor, 31, definitely garnered the loudest, most enduring screams from fans in the audience during the live taping for ABC’s competition.

Dancing a white-hot cha cha with Cheryl Burke, the hunk nabbed 24 out of a possible 30 points to deafening cheers which continued as the judges attempted to give him their complimentary remarks. (Family Matters star Jaleel White and Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins bested Levy, each nabbing an impressive 26 for their debuts.)

Levy took the hysteria is stride, he told Us Weekly after the show. “Oh man, it felt great. I felt their energy and I was like, ‘Let’s do it, just concentrate’ – somehow we got through it! Thank God! I don’t know if I was nervous or excited!”

A superstar in Latin America who once costarred in a Jennifer Lopez video, Levy admitted, “It was my dream to come to America when I was little . . .Being in this country and feeling this love is really nice.”
