Will Ferrell New Orleans

February 20, 2012 by staff

Will Ferrell New Orleans, Comedian Will Ferrell got into the Mardi Gras spirit Sunday as he took the helm of the Krewe of Bacchus parade float in New Orleans.

The Old School star served as King of Bacchus in the parade, and looked every bit the part. Ferell has been in the Big Easy filming The Campaign with Zach Galifianakis, and he told the New Orleans Times-Picayune before the parade, he wasn’t sure what to expect from Mardi Gras, which begins Tuesday.

“It’s slightly ominous, almost like it’s going to be fraternity hazing or something,” he said. “But I don’t know what to expect. I’m not going to try to predict (what happens), and I think it’s going to be crazy and fun.”
