Wiaa Football Playoffs

Wiaa Football Playoffs, The Cochrane-Fountain luxury football team and the school said a place in the WIAA state playoffs on October 7. It was not until Monday night, however, he discovered what the team would be playing.
The Pirates (6-3) will host Wisconsin Rapids Assumption (7-2) on Friday or Saturday at Level 1 of the playoffs WIAA.
Due to a demand by Shorewood / Milwaukee Messmer and co WIAA team, media were not allowed to be released until late Monday afternoon, and only 3-7 divisions brackets were given the green light.
Division 1 and Division 2 brackets will not be released until the trial is resolved.
“This was something that should not have happened,” said C-FC coach Steve Lyga. “This should be disturbing to the coach almost everyone in the state.
“I have simply no time to prepare.”
Lyga said without the slightest idea of ??what the team they were playing, the Pirates could do nothing in practice Monday.
“I just basically made a fundamental practice,” said Lyga. “There was no struggle, we have made some of sevens, but that’s all.”
The delay in the entire state is due to a lawsuit filed by Shorewood /
Messmer, who says that should be eligible for the state playoffs.
WIAA rules state that if a team withdraws voluntarily from a conference that the team is not eligible to compete in the playoffs for four years.
This season would be the fourth year.
Shorewood / Messmer also said he had no knowledge that it was
ineligible and began the process of litigation.
