Who Won The Election

November 3, 2010 by staff

Who Won The Election, The votes in the midterm elections have tallied. The message has been sent. The Republicans got loud and clear. But do you know what?

You better quickly find, because the new Republican administration is about to implement that message. That’s not good news for the average American.

First, they are the Republicans? Who are these people who just come to power in the House of Representatives and governorships around the country? Who are these people who won seats in the Senate?

Are retrograde, anti-government, neo-conservatives who are financially supported by the right wing, pro-business, against labor, billionaires against the middle class. And spent about $ 4 million in all, following the decision of the Citizens United has allowed anonymous ads in any amount they want.

They will try to pass the tax cuts are so large quantities that most Americans I can not believe it’s true because most Americans have no idea that even so much money.

The average American and makes 43,000 a year, if these days, they are still employed. The Koch brothers, managers of hedge funds and many on Wall Street more than that every hour of every day of every year. At a time when many Americans are going to food banks instead of the grocery store, these neocons rich want tax cuts on the money that could never happen, or in some cases not even know they have. The House Republicans, grateful for the hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign donations they want to give tax cuts.

But someone has to pay for the government. If Republicans cut taxes, who will pay for the government?

In the 1950′s, people in higher income groups, that part of their income over, say, and 1,000,000 per year is taxed at a 90% level. Many people who made much money, as the father of President John F. s Kennedy did not like that. So President Kennedy was cut to about 70%. But people who never owned by General Electric liked, even too much, nor the great Texas oil barons, who were accustomed to all sorts of tax exemptions in exchange for campaign contributions. So Ronald Reagan cut the top rate down to 28%, then rose back up to about 35%.

But do not cut public spending. In fact, quadrupled the military budget to cut anything in government except for income received from taxpayers.
Therefore, Republicans who have been newly elected were sponsored by people who want tax cuts. In fact, the GOP leaders in the House of Representatives have already said they will try to renew the Bush tax cuts that gave these millionaires and billionaires and a tax reduction of 120 thousand each and every million dollars of revenue they do. Now they pay an average of about 23% cash out of pocket taxes for the government. They want to pay less.

But the government is losing a billion dollars a year and that’s it. And $ 13 trillion in debt after 8 years of Bush Adminlsitration. Now voters have elected the same people. They intend to cut taxes again, and tax cuts and will add another $ 4 billion for domestic debt.

Who are the real winners in this election? The health insurance industry has now found that if you pay the big commentators, the right-wing radio in the tens of millions, if paid to GOP leaders in the hundreds of millions, then those people are on health project reform, to demonize, to sound expensive, inept, and largely unregulated … nothing that is true … just lies … lies.

The Republicans will commit to “repeal and replace” with a program that really going to take it back to the industry of health insurance so they can continue destroying the health of the American people. The health insurance industry has broken more than half a million people a year, has raised rates an average of 20% per year over the last ten years, and has continued to deny people coverage and continued decreasing coverage at will.

What do Nancy Pelosi? She met them at the House of Representatives if he could persuade to help these poor people coming from all strata of society that are simply and suddenly released in desperate circumstances, often the real death, for these executives cynical, sure for profit. Their efforts were demonized, lied about and ridiculed by commentators from right, on the Fox Channel Republican, and Republicans who wanted to be reelected and were eager to take money from the manufacture of health care.

Republicans are railing against the “Big Spenders” in Washington. This is of course the most superficial and most devious of lies. They … The same Republicans … are the additional and 8000 passed the billion above the 5000 billion and debt was reduced which took over in 2001. When the Democrats became the majority in the House and Senate in 2006, which restored “PAYGo” so that any new spending could take place without cutting the same amount in other areas of the budget.

So Republicans, Democrats are not big spenders. They are the ones who ran into deficit and are now want to keep the big tax cuts for the very wealthy. As a result, are those who want to cut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and education. But do not want to cut military spending by the Secretary of Defense has said it is about 40% redundant.

So whom do we choose? Who won?

Here’s who won: the very rich who want more tax cuts, industry, health care, international corporations, CEOs, billionaire oil men, the right-wing radio commentators, traders on Wall Street, major banks hold on to their money, not loans, people who are laying off workers and sending their jobs to China and finally, those who spend their whole life now, as the Cato Institute and Heritage Foundation and all its 32,000 lobbyist friends to make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year each to keep the American people to figure out what is really happening
