Which Lowes Stores Are ClosingWhich Lowes Stores Are Closing, Lowe’s Home Improvement has announced it will shutter 20 locations throughout the country due to the economy, and the business abruptly closed half of the “underperforming” stores on Sunday.

Neither Seabrook or places of Greenland – the stores closest to Hampton and North Hampton – will be affected, though New Hampshire is the only state with three stores on the block.

The Manchester store has closed, according to WMUR, while Claremont and Hooksett will be closed within a month. USA Today reported that the closure is because the company plans to use the resources to “focus on more profitable locations.”

The company, based in Mooresville, NC, reportedly intended to open 30 new stores in North America, despite various reports, Lowe will now state that less than 15 of those places.
