West Chester PaWest Chester Pa, Fox 29 was in West Chester, Pa., on Monday night talking about the loss of “Jackass” star Ryan Dunn. Now police say Dunn was over 100 mph in his Porsche with a friend as a passenger when he lost control of the car. Zack Hartnell was identified as the passenger and the police say that Hartnell was only 100 meters away from home when the accident occurred. West Goshen Township police said they received a call from a car accident around 2:38 a.m. Monday. Upon arrival, police found a 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 “the road and the forest was completely enveloped in flames.”

Dunn was the registered owner of the vehicle and its driver, police said, they even said in a press release that “the preliminary investigation revealed that the speed could have been a contributing factor to the accident.”

Police said they are awaiting positive identification before releasing the identity of the passenger.

Earlier Monday, Fox 29 News spoke to April Margera, mother of “Jackass” star Bam Margera, who said he was told Dunn died in the accident. She even said it was like a son to her and called her every Mother’s Day.

April Margera was named a second person who died in the crash, but Fox 29 News is withholding the name until the police confirm the identity. She said she did not know who was driving and could not have been a third person (the police have not mentioned a third occupant).

The crash remained closed Route 322 between New Street and Pottstown Pike for much of the morning. Drivers are advised to use Ashbridge Street to avoid the closure before the road reopened after seven hours.

TMZ reports that just hours before his death, Dunn posted a picture on his Twitter account shows himself drinking with friends. That picture has been removed.

The Associated Press, said a phone message left for the administrator Dunn was not immediately returned.

Dunn, 34, appeared in three “Jackass” movies, the latest being “Jackass 3D.” There was a race of a season with a own show called “Demolition”, which helped the victims of jokes for revenge.

Dunn also recently hosted a show called “field testing” on cable network G4 and must appear in a yet-to-be-released film called “living will”.
