Wes Skiles, WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Wesley Skiles, a famous underwater photographer, filmmaker and explorer, has died.
The Sheriff’s Office Palm Beach on Thursday, said Skiles died yesterday during a dive. He was 52.
Skiles Authorities say a sign to one of their divers was up, because he was out of the film. Several minutes later the rest decided to move up and saw the body Skiles still in the depths of the ocean. They took him to the surface and CPR. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
National Geographic, said Skiles worked with them frequently. Authorities say Skiles diving for the magazine when he died. National Geographic said it was after the conclusion of a research expedition “scientific papers related to marine life.”
