Weight Loss Supplements, Dr. Oz revealed how to triple your fat loss on the Feb. 10 episode of the Dr. Oz Show (“Triple Your Fat Loss”).
Dr. Oz said his weight-loss program blocks fat storage, burns fat after meals, and activates your body’s fat-fighting furnace. “This program works faster than ever,” said Dr. Oz. “You start to see the results in just two weeks.”
Dr. Oz’s three-step plan involves the following:
Meratrim Supplement Blocks Fat Storage
Dr. Oz kicked off the show by discussing a ground-breaking fat-blocking supplement called Meratrim, which combines the fat-fighting properties of the herb sphaeranthus indicus and the flower Garcinia Mangostana.
Dr. Oz had asked 30 audience members to use the Meratrim supplement for two weeks and report their weight-loss results. Amazingly, all the women lost an average of three pounds and three inches off their waists in 14 days while taking Meratrim. Dr. Oz said for best results, use the following guidelines:
Double Your Protein, Blast Fat With Pomegranate Vinegar and Coconut Water
Dr. Oz said the second part of his Triple-Your-Fat-Loss plan is to double your protein intake at every meal. He said substituting the carbs you normally eat with protein will force your body to burn a lot more calories. He suggested the following meal combinations:
Finally, the third part of Dr. Oz’s fat-burning plan is easy: Simply consume a tablespoon of pomegranate vinegar after every meal. The vinegar prevents the blood-sugar spikes that fuel fat storage. You can drink it straight or with water.
Dr. Oz also discusses the health benefits of coconut water, which has been shown to promote lean-muscle growth, reduce blood pressure, and accelerate weight loss. However, make sure the coconut water you drink has no added sugars and doesn’t have more than 50 calories a serving.
Dr. Oz and Dr. Joseph Mercola: Vitamin Supplements Are Necessary
On a separate segment of his show, Dr. Oz’s guest was Dr. Joseph Mercola, an alternative-health expert who has made headlines for his controversial anti-vaccine stance.
Dr. Mercola, author of The No-Grain Diet, is a proponent of the low-carb, high-fat diet, which has been shown to produce rapid weight loss. Dr. Oz explored the weight-loss benefits of a high-fat on his show last week.
Dr. Mercola is outraged by recent reports claiming vitamin supplements are useless. Dr. Oz agreed. Both Oz and Mercola said the best way to get your vitamins is through food, but the vast majority of people simply do not eat enough vegetables or high-quality proteins to get all their nutrients from diet alone. For this reason, Dr. Oz said everyone should take a multi-vitamin daily.
