Weather Indianapolis, (CNN) A massive storm system roared in the Midwest Tuesday morning, with winds exceeding 70 km / h and isolated heavy rain can “overlay” of tornadoes, forecasters said. Damage caused by falling trees and high winds were reported in Missouri.
There were unconfirmed reports of tornadoes touching to Illinois, Wisconsin and Kentucky. The National Weather Service said it sent a team in Racine, Wisconsin, to check on a possible touchdown pass there. Video footage shot by Racine signage outside a business.
CNN Severe Weather Center reported the storm was moving rapidly eastward over 50 mph. By 10:20 ET, the center of the ring enlargement of severe storms has been strengthened and had moved east of Indianapolis, Indiana.
