Wear Purple October 20

October 20, 2010 by staff

Wear Purple October 20, Use Purple October 20, 2010 to assist in awareness of bullying of gays and lsbns among children, adolescents and young adults. This is a growing epidemic that has plagued our nation as news of children and adolescents in bullying suicide has become part of our common culture.

Wearing Purple October 20, 2010 is a sign that we are not going to stand for the bullying of gays, lsbns, or any children, adolescents and young adults more. Many celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, who is openly gay, has created public service obligations, or public service announcements about the horrible tragedies that have ended life as a result of intimidation.

Therefore, if you’re willing to take a stand against our children, neighbors, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and being harassed for who they are, a purple ribbon, and let everyone know why. To learn more about using purple 20 through the official Facebook Page October.!/event.php?eid=122462384475928
