Wcccd, Wayne County Community College District and will lose 679,000 in reimbursements in the Renaissance Zone community college budget approved by the Senate and House today.

While the general treasury operations of the state will remain the same as last year, 23 community colleges in Michigan 28 will lose money with the elimination of state reimbursements for reimbursements Renaissance Zone. In total, community colleges and will lose nearly $ 2.9 million.

WCCCD is the big loser. Oakland Community College will lose about $ 54,000.

Around the state, Grand Rapids Community College will lose $ 418,000 and Community College Montcalm, Ionia and lose 341,000.
