Vikings Daunte Culpepper, Bryant Mckinnie, Fred Smoot And Moe Williams Charged With Misdeamonr, Vikings Daunte Culpepper, Bryant McKinnie, Fred Smoot and Moe Williams charged with misdeamonr (misdemeanor) – Four Minnesota Vikings were charged in 2005 with misdemeanors for a wild party on board a chartered boat that allegedly involved public sex acts.
Quarterback Daunte Culpepper, tackle Bryant McKinnie, running back Moe Williams and cornerback Fred Smoot all were charged with indecent conduct, one count of disorderly conduct and one count of lewd and lascivious conduct, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported.
Any team discipline had to wait until the legal case has played out.
“There is, according to NFL rules and union contracts, there is a large difference between allegations and charges and convictions,” said Mike Tice, the Vikings coach. “Until at any point there is a conviction of any type, I have no action to take and nothing to say.”
