Verizon said a package of basic votes, including 450 minutes per month and cost 40. A plan for voice and text including unlimited text messages start at $ 60 per month. And a separate plan for obtaining data e-mail and the Web will cost $ 30 per month. It’s the same price Verizon charges customers to surf the Web on other smartphones like the Droid 2 by Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc.

Verizon said that customers would be able to use the iPhone as a Wi-Fi hotspot and for an extra 20 per month – a feature that AT & T does not offer iPhone users.
