Unclaimed MoneyUnclaimed Money, ABC “Good Morning America” Fever has unclaimed money nation. The show “Show Me the Money” series set out to show Americans that approximately 1 in 10 people have unclaimed money waiting for her out there, somewhere. So I sought the names of the 286 employees who work in the curriculum and the offices of GMA, showing amazing results.

“Good Morning America,” enlisted the help of the New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli and his staff in the mission. DiNapoli and his team manage “the weighty matters as the state paychecks and pensions, but also make your own version of a prize patrol,” said show.

“We have a broad mission and an important task and a very dedicated group of employees, and the happiest people are those who work in unclaimed funds, since they get to give people money,” DiNapoli said GMA. “That always puts a smile on everyone’s face.”

The state of New York, for example, claims and 11 million dollars in unclaimed funds – a substantial number one source. That’s more than any other state, but more than 49 people can try to figure out to see if they have unclaimed money in his name.

As the GMA staff including anchors and producers were recorded, the researchers looked for the money in the same places where Americans have allegedly claimed the money – forgotten apartment security deposits, not cash checks for overtime, lost insurance reimbursement and more.

In the GMA staff research found that host Robin Roberts had unclaimed money in your old cable company, while Roberts makeup artist Elena George, had to wait too much money. Others had unclaimed money, as well as co-anchor of Weekend Bianna Golodryga, who had unclaimed cash from his college years and GMA news anchor Josh Elliott, who had money of his days on ESPN.

In total, 286 GMA sought the names of staff and find the money to 24 people – 12 percent. The grand total: 43,726 y.

Do you have unclaimed money waiting for you? GMA says 50 states and the District of Columbia and currently has 32 billion in unclaimed funds alone.
