Garcia claimed an Omaha Nighthawks 20-17 come-from-behind win against Daunte Culpepper and the Lions Saturday in the Sacramento mountains UFL.
Garcia threw the winning TD pass to Jeb Putzier with 4:59 left to claim the second straight victory for the Nighthawks.
The game was the betrayal a second line to Omaha, and the second in league history two years. Omaha has been granted an expansion team in the UFL this year.
The game was conceived as perhaps the greatest in history with Garcia and UFL Culpepper compete. But it was a defensive struggle for most games.
