UAA, Rick Steiner of the University of Anchorage, Alaska, presented at various universities and conferences on the cause of Gulf oil spill in April in Mexico. According to their research, there are many similarities between the BP oil spill and the Exxon Valdez spill in 1989.

Steiner said the oil spill that caused a lot of pain for the marine ecosystems of Alaska you can blame no one, not two, but to be 20 cases. The “chain of failures” including “human error and equipment malfunction,” “government misconduct” and not to mention that “government supervision was totally ineffective.”

Steiner also said the Deepwater Horizon is designed wrong, and not a lot of mechanisms. Naturally, the effects of escalating disasters.

The oil spill was one of the most talked about disasters around the world. Today, their environmental impact stand to show that the criticisms made against the PA were completely rational.
